About The Position

Residential AV Technician, High-End Homes Install and support AV and smart home systems in high-end private residences. This role is for technicians who care about craftsmanship, clean installs, and doing things the right way. What You’ll Do Install and program residential AV, lighting, shading, networking, and control systems, including Savant, Lutron, Sonos, TVs, and motorized shades. Build racks, terminate wiring, and deliver clean, reliable systems. Work inside finished, high-end homes where cleanliness, discretion, and precision matter. Collaborate with a team that works hard, is eager to grow, and stays ego-free. Support system testing, final commissioning, and system troubleshooting. Travel is an essential function of this role Travel is an essential function of this role. Projects are frequently located in Philadelphia, Manhattan, and surrounding areas. Overnight stays may be required depending on project schedule. Longer-distance travel may occur, including destinations such as Miami or the Bahamas. All business travel beyond a normal commute is fully covered by the company and includes an overnight travel bonus when applicable. Who We’re Looking For 2+ years hands-on experience installing residential AV systems in private homes. Strong wiring, rack building, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with Lutron, Sonos, and networking is required. Attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders. Valid driver’s license. Ability to meet the travel requirements described above. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with higher rates for senior residential technicians, plus travel pay and incentives. This is an hourly, non-exempt role.

  • 2+ years hands-on experience installing residential AV systems in private homes.
