Requirements

  • Members who age out of the program are transitioned into the role of High Access Volunteer.
  • This role allows them to continue contributing while leveraging the skills and knowledge gained during their time in the program.
  • High Access Volunteers serve as mentors and role models for current participants, helping to foster a supportive community.
  • The transition provides ongoing personal development and opportunities for leadership within the program.

Responsibilities

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to current program members by sharing personal experiences and insights gained from their time in the program.
  • Leadership: Act as a role model, setting a positive example for participants in terms of conduct, work ethic, and program involvement.
  • Program Support: Assist staff and coordinators in organizing and executing activities, events, and workshops aimed at participant development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other volunteers, staff, and program providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive community environment.
  • Participant Engagement: Encourage active participation and engagement among members, helping them to stay connected and involved in program initiatives.
  • Skill Development: Facilitate the learning and development of essential life skills, leadership abilities, and community-building techniques for participants.
