About The Position

This position is responsible for learning to operate the Hide Process to ensure uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. The Hide Process Trainee is the starting point for those with no experience who want to learn the process and grow a career with Creekstone and work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical operations of equipment
• Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful
• Ability to maintain high expectations for self and others, demonstrating a dedication to achievement of results
• Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
• Solid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Learn the operations of centrifuges, Grinders, Hide puller, load out area, meal grinder
• Support operation of the process to produce product that is within specification
• Learn about yields by gaining a clear understanding of yields of product
• Assist where needed, as directed by department management
• Adhere to Safety Program’s rules and regulations
• Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situations
• All other duties as assigned
