About The Position

The Leidos Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC) Team supporting the NASA Johnson Space Center is seeking top scientists, engineers, technologists, and mission professionals to join a multidisciplinary team supporting human health, performance, and mission success in some of the most complex operational environments in the world. Our work directly enables safe, effective, and sustainable human spaceflight and high-risk operations through the integration of science, engineering, and real-time mission support. The Leidos team on HHPC provides end-to-end human health and performance support for government and commercial spaceflight missions. We support our customers by integrating biomedical research, operational medicine, human systems engineering, data and analytics, and mission operations into a cohesive, mission-ready capability. Our HHPC work spans research development, operational execution, and long-term sustainment, supporting activities from pre-mission planning through real-time operations and post-mission analysis. Work is conducted in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment that requires technical rigor, disciplined execution, and close collaboration with customer stakeholders and mission partners. Leidos specialized Areas of Support The program delivers services across the following specialized domains: Biomedical Research Operations Planning, executing, and sustaining human health and performance research across ground, analog, and flight environments, including protocol development, study execution, data collection, and compliance. Space Food Systems Development, testing, qualification, and operational support of space food systems to ensure nutritional adequacy, safety, crew acceptance, and long-duration mission viability. Human Systems Integration (HSI) Integration of human performance, habitability, workload, and usability considerations into system design, mission operations, and operational requirements to optimize crew safety and effectiveness. Engineering Systems, biomedical, and operations engineering supporting hardware, software, and mission systems across the full lifecycle, from concept through sustainment. IT, Data, and Analytics Design, operation, and sustainment of secure information systems, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and digital tools that enable research, operations, and decision-making. Space Radiation Research, modeling, monitoring, and operational support related to radiation exposure, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for crewed missions. We are looking for professionals who are mission-driven, technically strong, and comfortable operating at the intersection of science, engineering, and operations.
