About The Position
HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a Clearing/SIT Specialist to support the Operations team by providing immediate support to answer inquiries, troubleshoot application access, and network with internal and external move partners to resolve concerns. The goal of this role is to be readily available and responsive to meet partner needs with exceptional quality and service. As the single global household goods movement manager for over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year, HomeSafe Alliance is dedicated to providing fast, easy, and efficient relocation experiences. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the clearing process is managed effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Clearing/SIT Specialist will review clearing requests manually or through an automated system to achieve system goals such as productivity, on-time performance, and efficiency. This role will implement a continuous improvement process culture to enhance efficiencies and performance. Outstanding customer service is paramount, and the specialist will oversee all portions of the clearing process, including direct delivery and storage in transit (SIT). The specialist will pilot all outbound flows from the warehouse to customers, ensuring proactive communication with customers throughout the process. In addition to achieving HomeSafe KPIs and performance metric requirements, the specialist will define and maintain KPIs to measure the efficiency of operations. Daily and hourly monitoring of all system efficiencies will be required, with adjustments made as needed. The specialist will also update all customer flows in SAP, from arrival to delivery, and perform other duties as assigned. This role is fully remote, and HomeSafe will provide the necessary equipment, although employees must have high-speed internet access.
