Bridges Homeward is one of the oldest human services agencies in Greater Boston, founded in 1873. It serves children, adolescents, individuals, and families in the Cambridge area, Greater Boston, and its suburbs, providing services for foster and group care, adoption, developmental disabilities, and family support across more than 100 cities and towns in Massachusetts. The agency promotes work-life balance and self-care, operating on a full-time, 33.5-hour work week. The Healthy Families Massachusetts (HFM) Program, which this role supervises, aims to prevent child abuse and neglect by supporting positive parenting, achieve optimal health and development in early childhood, promote increased educational attainment and life skills, reduce unintended repeat pregnancies, and foster optimal parental health and wellness.
