About The Position

The HES (Home Energy Specialist) Assistant Techs with conducting Energy Assessments, with main focus on blower door guided air sealing Essential Functions: The Essential Functions are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job. Conduct Blower Door Tests Set up blower doors properly Ensure homes are in safe conditions to run Blower Door tests Run blower door tests before and after sealing Air seal homes based on Blower Door diagnoses Thoroughly air seal homes based on blower door results Air seal attic top plates and penetrations Air seal basement rim joists and penetrations Weatherize doors and windows in conditioned space Documentation Document blower door readings properly Take photos of work being done in the home Provide lead technician with all required documentation Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable Transportation Required
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and time management skills.
• Outgoing, flexible, and personable demeanor.
• Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 and OSHA Confined Space Certification
• Energize CT HES program knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities
