About The Position

This position is a remote role for a Territory Sales Associate (TSA) based in Syracuse, New York. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to various store locations within the assigned territory. The role requires driving a personal vehicle approximately 55 miles per day, with mileage reimbursed at 62 cents per mile. The TSA will work part-time, averaging 20-25 hours per week, with flexible schedules available. The workday should generally overlap the core hours of 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The starting hourly rate is between $15.50 and $16.50, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location. TSAs will represent major brands, ensuring best-in-class merchandising, building displays, and increasing distribution of top-selling items.

Requirements

• Must have a valid US state issued driver's license.
• Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage.
• Must reside or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries.
• Must be able to drive long distances for multiple sales calls daily.
• Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop down, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to use tablet technology.
• Must have daily access to wireless internet.
• Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans.
• Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions.
• Report daily activities using tablets, submitting upon completion of each day.
• Manage sales territory, which varies due to territory size, number of retailers, and location.
