About The Position

This position is a remote role for a Territory Sales Associate (TSA) based in Syracuse, New York. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to various store locations within their assigned territory, which requires driving a personal vehicle approximately 55 miles per day. The role is part-time, offering flexible schedules and requires working 20-25 hours per week. TSAs will be responsible for selling and maintaining distribution of Hershey products, ensuring effective retail execution, and reporting activities and expenses. The position offers an hourly starting rate of $15.50 - $16.50, depending on experience and location.

Requirements

• Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license.
• Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage.
• Must reside or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries.
• Must be able to drive long distances for multiple sales calls daily.
• Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop down, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently.
• Must be able to use tablet technology.
• Must have daily access to wireless internet.
• Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans.
• Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions.
• Report daily activities using tablets and submit upon completion of each day.
• Manage sales territory, which varies due to size, number of retailers, and location.
