About The Position
Potawatomi Zoo is looking for a passionate and experienced Herpetology Keeper to help expand and enhance our reptile and amphibian collection. We seek an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to assist in developing new exhibits and revitalizing existing ones. The Herpetology Keeper will be a motivated team player with a strong work ethic, eager to provide care to the majority of reptiles and amphibians at Potawatomi Zoo, while also caring for other species assigned to their area. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offering competitive pay based on experience. Benefits include annual wage increases as outlined in the union contract, a yearly clothing allowance, and additional benefits upon meeting eligibility requirements.
