About The Position

The Program/Project Management Analyst at Salesforce is responsible for managing financial and operational aspects of business programs, ensuring effective communication and alignment between finance and business operations teams. This hybrid role involves budget management, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of budget, finance, and project management experience
  • Understanding of budgets, resource allocation, and financial tracking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, data cleansing, data manipulation)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/programs from idea through execution
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, often under minimal supervision
  • Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform and tools
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions effectively

Responsibilities

  • Develop, track, and report on organizational budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to forecast and track financials, including costs, resources, and revenue projections.
  • Track and report on staffing levels, ensuring appropriate allocation of talent across the Heroku organization.
  • Work closely with HR and department heads to ensure efficient resource utilization and address any headcount issues or gaps.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of projects, assessing potential ROI and impact on business operations.
  • Partner with Finance to prepare regular financial and operational reports, providing insights into performance, risks, and trends.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional business operations projects and programs to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with finance, HR, and operations teams to ensure alignment between financial planning, staffing, and business operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set priorities and define strategies for business operations and financial management.
