Hepa Certification Technician - JLL What this job involves: As a Hepa Certification Technician you will perform filter inspection and integrity testing on cleanrooms and equipment that use HEPA filtration to measure airflow, differential pressure following cGMP, Safety and Environmental requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working on manufacturing facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with HEPA Certification responsibilities and willingness to get certified.
  • Familiar with using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Be able to understand and create work orders and detailed documentation.
  • Communication skills
  • Adhere to cGMP, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Willingness to Issue/complete job hazard analysis/safe work permits (hot work, excavating, confined space, hazardous atmosphere, etc.)
  • Be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures, job plans and/or equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine HEPA filter certifications.
  • Measure airflow, differential pressure, perform filter inspection and integrity testing.
  • Repair or replace filters that do not meet acceptance criteria.
  • Perform airflow visualization on Class A filters.
  • Test compressed air, process air and nitrogen filters.
  • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to document work performed.
  • Provide detailed documentation of all maintenance troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
  • Adhere to cGMP, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Issue/complete job hazard analysis/safe work permits (hot work, excavating, confined space, hazardous atmosphere, etc.)
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, job plans and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
  • Responsible for maintaining training matrix requirements.
  • Assist with modification, installation and start up of new and existing instrumentation, process control systems and equipment.
  • Develop knowledge and skills needed perform job as required by the area of responsibility.
  • Assist with filter certifications.
  • Attend clean room testing training course.
  • Perform all responsibilities as defined in previous job level.
  • Perform filter certifications.
  • Repair and/or replace filters that don't meet acceptance criteria.
  • Train and mentor new HEPA Certification technicians.
  • Supervise contracted service personnel.
  • Perform all responsibilities as defined in previous job level.
  • Schedule and plan filter certifications.
  • Complete paperwork to get create new or revise Assets/Locations and PMs in the CMMS.
  • Establish new filter criteria and PM frequencies.
  • Set up spare parts in the CMMS.
