The Henderson Food is Medicine Internship Program supports The Farm at Trinity Health Oakland. This paid internship, scheduled for up to 40 hours per week for 20 weeks, is an integral part of Trinity Health's Food is Medicine Programs. This position offers part-time scheduling flexibility to accommodate an academic schedule during the spring and fall months, with the ideal candidate working full-time between May and August. The Farm works to grow a healthy community by empowering people through food, education, and relationships. Our interns learn sustainable agriculture practices; how to interact with community members of all backgrounds; communication skills; and educational material development. The Agriculture and Community Health Internship can be adapted depending on the intern's professional interests, offering specialties in agriculture and education; all Henderson Food is Medicine Interns will grow and learn in a variety of meaningful ways:
