About The Position

PART TIME-DAYS About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves. Scope of Work Assist with prepping patients for procedures, applying ECG patches, obtaining vital signs, shaving patients’ groin or other areas as necessary; assist with room turnover, sterile table set up, femoral arterial and venous line pulls, radial band removal, bed pans, feeding, and walking post procedure, assist with patient discharge. Assists in the transfer of patients from stretcher and wheelchair to procedure table while maintaining the safety and patency of patient IV’s, catheters, and tubes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required
• Ability to interact well with patients and take vital signs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience, certification (CNA), or enrollment in a nursing school is a preferred qualification.
• Prior Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
