About The Position
Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Saint Paul, MN Service Setting: Hospital and Infusion Center (Float Pool) Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: 01/12/2026 – Ongoing (3–6 months, possible extension) Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p On -Call Shift Schedule: Evenings, nights, and weekends as assigned Call Type: In -House
Requirements
- Active Minnesota medical license required for quick start; IMLC accepted
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS
- Minimum 2 years of hematology/oncology experience
- Ability to manage inpatient oncology and hematology patients independently
- Willingness to take call coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care with emphasis on malignant hematology
- Manage medical oncology and solid tumor patients
- Participate in scheduled clinical coverage and on -call responsibilities
- Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation within the Epic EMR system
