Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Portland, OR Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: May 26, 2026 Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shift Schedule: -Mon, Wed,Thur,Fri 8hrs a day with 1 hour for lunch Patient Demographics: Adults Phone Consults: Will only need to take phone calls from ER doctors and hospitalist during clinic hours Required to Supervise APPs: Yes % of Practice: 100% Office/Clinic; 35% Hematology, Physician in Practice: 2 Support Staff: -1NP, 1PA, 1 Nurse Navigator, 5 Nurses, 1 Pharmacist, -2 Pharm Techs, 4 Schedulers, 1 Lab Tech, 1 Social Worker, 5 MAs Duties/Clinical Areas: -Oupatient Hema/Oncology -Participation in Tumor board -Signing chemotherapy orders for nursing staff to administer -Respond to nurse questions and to patient reactions in the infusion section of the clinic. Procedures: -Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, Intracavitary Office Equipment:Lab & X -ray Onsite Beds in the Dept: 143 No. of Exam rooms: 10 Trauma Level: III EMR: Epic Hospital Privileges required: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
