About The Position

Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Charleston, WV Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: March 2, 2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On -Call Shift Schedule: Inpatient call every third week, including weekends Call Type: In -House Call Ratio: 1:3

Requirements

• Active state medical license required
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active DEA required
• Oncology fellowship, BLS, ACLS required
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience
• Ability to provide full -time coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinic services
• Manage inpatient oncology consults and admissions
• Perform bone marrow biopsies as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care teams
• Provide on -call coverage in accordance with call schedule
