Requirements
- 6–8 years experience as Medical Technologist/Supervisor
- Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field
- Florida Supervisor License – Hematology
- Certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Supervise hematology lab workflow and ensure timely, accurate results
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and improve processes
- Support staff training, competency, and development
- Manage hiring, performance reviews, scheduling, and team issues
- Maintain staffing coverage and assist on bench when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality programs (CAP, TAT, etc.)
- Collaborate on SOPs, training, and process improvements
