The Department of Medicine at The University of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) is recruiting an exceptional hematology physician scientist with a focus on Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy to join our faculty in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. We are looking for candidates with a track record of research focus and clinical excellence caring for patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and other cellular therapies, and an interest in education as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. An interest in clinical or translational research, with a focus in post-transplant immunological complications, use of novel cellular therapies for cancer treatment and us of bone marrow stem cells in transplant and regenerative medicine is desired. Priority areas include genomics, precision medicine and cancer therapeutics. This position is full or part time, 80%-100% This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles: Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor on the Tenure track. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
