About The Position
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Comprehensive Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology Physician to join our Olympia Medical Center team in Olympia, Washington. As a Comprehensive Hematologist and Oncologist at Kaiser-WPMG you will have the ability to interact formally and informally with colleagues and specialists to share knowledge, discuss ideas, and formulate treatments that best suit your patient's needs. You will work within a model that has eliminated the insurance roadblocks and access issues that prevent you from having enough time to get to know, understand, and care for your patients. You will operate within a multispecialty medical center that provides the power of coordinated care for your patients, including easy-to-navigate, one-stop facilities that offer a full spectrum of services. There is potential for a 4-day work week inpatient rounding as a consultative service. Hospitalists are on site and are responsible for all admissions and discharges. The clinic schedule is protected for adequate patient-physician face-to-face time, promoting work-life balance with competitive vacation and CME time. This position allows for a community hematology and oncology practice with the ability to focus on specialty areas of care. EPIC and Beacon EMR systems are utilized at all sites of practice, and there are opportunities to develop non-clinical interests in medicine. A generous sign-on bonus is offered.
