About The Position

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join a busy five-physician practice with offices at AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration, just south of downtown Orlando and near the attractions. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Genitourinary Cancer but will also continue to manage other hematologic and oncologic conditions across the spectrum Rotation of call would include both inpatient and outpatient in equal share with the other physicians. Practice will have APRN/PA collaboration both in the inpatient and outpatient settings This is a new position to accommodate the growth of the practice and community. This physician will support one of the busiest Urologic Oncologic Surgical programs in the country. The existing surgeon recently completed 18,000 robotic prostatectomies Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth Celebration and Kissimmee Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, (including Phase 1) and tumor boards (daily) Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.. Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando AdventHealth was ranked by US News & World among the top 50 in the nation for six medical specialties: CANCER; diabetes and endocrinology; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; obstetrics and gynecology; and orthopedics.
