About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established program with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in New Smyrna Beach. This location has been serving the community since 2023 and is part of our larger oncology services that have been a trusted presence in Central Florida for over 20 years. The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our group and supportcontinued growth in the region. This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients at AdventHealth New Smyrna The practice consists of two physicians and two APPs Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth New Smyrna and surrounding hospitals Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, (including Phase 1) and tumor boards (daily) The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients. Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc..
