About The Position

The MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN) is actively seeking a Hematologist Oncologist to join Maine Health Cancer Care at Memorial Hospital, North Conway, NH. This position is part of a statewide oncology care program designed to provide care as close to home as possible, comprising 12 hospital partners and serving over 6,800 analytic cancer patients annually. The MHCCN's comprehensive cancer care program is accredited by ASCO QOPI, COC, NAPBC, and NAPRC, and includes fully integrated surgical oncology, radiation oncology, palliative care, and patient support services. The role offers a robust research program through the NCI's Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) and includes participation in 19 dedicated tumor board meetings monthly for various cancer types. The position is ideal for those seeking a change in work-life balance, supported by experienced APRNs, an on-site infusion center, and a dedicated oncology pharmacy. Inpatient care is managed by hospitalists, with access to tertiary care oncology services at Maine Health Cancer Care in South Portland and Maine Medical Center in Portland, which is the state's leading tertiary care hospital.

Requirements

• A degree in medicine from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of Residency/Fellowship at an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible for hematology or hematology and oncology.
• New graduates and those early in their careers are especially encouraged to apply.
