About The Position

Beacon Medical Group, is seeking a dynamic high-caliber BC/BE Hematologist-Medical Oncologist for the Beacon Cancer Care location in South Bend, Elkhart, and Three Rivers The candidate will join our Hematologist/Oncologists in an established medical oncology program Full services including infusion and radiation therapies Call (1 in 5 weeks), first call support, highly competitive salary (50% MGMA + productivity), each physician team consists of an RN, MA, and an NP, strong patient load averaging 15-20 patients per day The clinic utilizes Cerner EMR on the inpatient service as well as outpatient with oncology module An outstanding Radiation Oncology service complements a strong Medical Oncology service (nurse navigators, genetics counselor, social work and dietician) Outpatient clinical pharmacist support Beacon has a strong affiliation with the Mayo Clinic Care Network which affords our providers an opportunity to obtain a second opinion from Mayo without the patient visiting an outside practice The Beacon Cancer program has many active clinical trials as a member of Alliance through its Mayo affiliation and is accredited by the CoC Strong referral base Multispecialty Tumor boards Beacon offers a market competitive salary and benefit package, including, but not limited to:o Medical, Dental, and Vision Insuranceo Life Insurance o Short/Long-term Disabilityo CME Allowanceo 403(b) and 457(b) Retirement Savings Planso Paid Malpractice with Tail Coverageo and if applicable: Relocation Allowanceo Student Loan Repayment Assistance South Bend is home to several colleges, including the world-renowned University of Notre Dame, providing many options for athletic and cultural events Combined with the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend and the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, live entertainment is easy to find A “big little town,” South Bend is also home to the South Bend Cubs, a Class-A minor league baseball team Parks, Potawatomi Zoo and numerous festivals offer family-friendly fun Nearby, the sandy shores of Lake Michigan beckon with opportunities for camping, hiking or just relaxing Close to Chicago, Detroit and Indianapolis
