About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Hem/Onc Physician to join us in Waco, TX BSW McClinton Cancer Center, 150 Hillcrest Medical Blvd. Waco, TX 76712. Position Highlights: Support Staff: Join a team of 4 other physicians at a dedicated cancer center. Along with support from Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Coordinators, Clerical and scheduling staff. Patient census: 15-20 Patients Daily. Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Convenience of: On-site lab, pharmacy, and infusion center. On-site Radiation Oncology. Referral base: primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital. Opportunities for: clinical trials. Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine - Temple. Tools: EMR - EPIC AND BEACON. DAX – AI Ambient Listening – improves clinical workflows and patient experience. We are open to recent Hem/Onc fellowship graduates. Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • HemOnc Board Certified/Eligible
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
  • We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history
  • The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.
