About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and hands-on female caregiver to support an 81-year-old woman recovering from a recent stroke that resulted in left-side hemiplegia . Prior to her stroke, she was highly active and physically fit, and she remains deeply committed to her rehabilitation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys encouraging progress, supporting recovery, and providing respectful, patient-centered care. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a motivated client and play an important role in her stroke recovery and daily quality of life.

Requirements

• Stroke rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Physically able to provide hands-on mobility assistance
• Some healthcare background required
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Patient, encouraging, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from medical appointments
• Assist with grocery shopping and other errands
• Support with bathing, toileting, dressing, hair care, and personal hygiene
• Provide hands-on mobility assistance and close supervision (client is not independently ambulatory)
• Assist and support stroke rehabilitation exercises as directed
• Offer nutritional support and encouragement during meals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote motivation and well-being
