About The Position

General Summary of the Position

Performs tasks involving physical labor in construction of skid mounted gas processing plants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (following are accountabilities included but not limited to):

Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in fabrication and assembly projects.
Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
Maintains a clean job site; picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman or Superintendent.
Other duties assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Skills and Abilities:

Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction.
Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety procedures.
Ability to work with team to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in elevated areas, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

Education, Training and Experience:

Any experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Work Context:

Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other particles.
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Noise level is generally loud.
Must be able to quickly move arms and legs.
Excellent stamina is required.
Must be able to work in elevated areas.
