About The Position

SUMMARY Performs numerous tasks throughout the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General housekeeping duties as assigned Helps in other departments as assigned Performs deburring and cleaning as assigned. Maintains the coolant quality program by checking the levels and concentration in all machines on a scheduled basis. Adjust coolant level, concentration or change coolant when required. Reports directly to the shift supervisor, however, works with or under the direction of employees in the department assigned to. Performs numerous tasks as assigned. Maintain multi-tasks at a high and accurate productive level daily. Education and Experience Requirements Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or general educational diploma (G.E.D.). Must be familiar with forklift and be able to pass forklift test. Must have knowledge, skills, and ability to learn basic shop functions and expand into areas of more responsibility. Physical Demand and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will constantly move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently move up to twenty (20) pounds, and occasionally move up to eighty (80) pounds. At all times the employee should maximize the usage of mechanical aids at their disposal. The employee will perform the following activities; constantly be reaching and handling and feeling. Frequently, stooping, crouching, and grasping and occasionally be climbing, balancing, and kneeling. The work environment is mostly in a production setting.
