Position Summary The Installation Helper works alongside Lead Installers to assist in the installation of windows and doors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work at heights and on ladders

Nice To Haves

  • Previous construction, carpentry, or installation experience is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Installers with the removal and installation of windows and doors
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from job sites
  • Prepare work areas by protecting floors, furniture, and surrounding surfaces
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directed
  • Hold, secure, and position products during installation
  • Assist with sealing, insulating, and finishing installations to ensure proper fit and weather resistance
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after installation
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the installation team
