Requirements

• Must have 12 months of experience working in construction as a carpenter helper.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with building techniques and form construction.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must meet physical requirements for the job.
• Ability to work a full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed.
• Willingness to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Must have required tools for the job.
• Must pass in-house helper test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with constructing, fabricating, installing, and dismantling formwork and fixtures.
• Learn to identify and avoid safety hazards related to the work.
• Safely and effectively use or operate work-related tools and equipment.
• Assist specialty crew with preparing the layout of the project.
• Select, load, and haul job materials to different areas on the work site.
• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site.
• Provide support as needed for the specialty crew.
• Assist in measurement, marking, and cutting tasks.
• Help in positioning, joining, aligning, and sealing structural components.
• Manage own time effectively to ensure maximum productivity.
• Abide by all safety policies and project rules.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
