About The Position

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for part-time HELPER DRIVER positions at Battle Ground Public Schools. The role involves preparing and serving food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Captain, delivering food and beverages using a catering delivery truck, and setting up and breaking down functions. The position follows an academic calendar, and the schedule may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements

• Previous experience driving a box truck is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service or catering.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils for removal to the Catering Department.
• Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the Catering Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
