About The Position

The Helpdesk Specialist will support a healthcare organization during a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project. This role involves assisting users with the migration process, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all systems function properly post-migration. The position is a 6 to 8-month contract and requires on-site work four days a week in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Windows 10/11 and computer imaging.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to migrations and imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
  • Ability to work on-site daily at the site location with potential travel to other sites in close proximity to the main site.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the migration project.

Responsibilities

  • Assist users from different departments with migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • Resolve issues related to migration, including locating, copying, and restoring files, documents, and links.
  • Swap and track assets after migration completion.
  • Ensure new or reimaged laptops function properly, including user login, desktop repopulation, and testing of print, email, network drives, applications, and camera.
  • Coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
  • Identify, research, and resolve routine technical problems of low complexity.
  • Provide support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues.
  • Educate users and assist in locating Windows 11 training guides and videos.
