The Helpdesk Operator position in Information Technology is responsible for answering IT Helpdesk phone calls and providing support to users experiencing technical issues. This role involves basic troubleshooting for computer problems, directing callers to online resources, and assisting with helpdesk account creation and ticket submission. The Helpdesk Operator will also manage ticketing processes, including submitting, reviewing, updating, and closing tickets as necessary. Additionally, the operator will log backup tapes and perform other duties as assigned.
