The Help Desk Tier III SME - Microsoft SCCM is responsible for the implementation and management of Intune services to centralize device configurations, manage user access, and simplify app and device management across various agency devices. This role involves operating and maintaining the Government mobile device management system (Microsoft Intune) and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and configurations for mobile devices, desktops, and virtual endpoints.

  • Implement and manage Intune services for device configuration and management.
  • Operate and maintain the Microsoft Intune mobile device management system.
  • Administer mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Ensure compliance with access, configurations, and corporate policies.
  • Perform patch management for servers, workstations, and infrastructure devices.
  • Plan and execute software pushes using approved enterprise patch management software.
  • Distribute software packages to test groups and troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Report on the status of software and system update deployments.
  • Develop documentation including TOs, SOPs, checklists, and best practices for patch management.
  • Automate procedures using scripts and manage BitLocker encryption on Windows devices.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least six (6) years of help desk experience.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, and ITIL Foundations (required or must be obtained within six months of hire).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 security features and integration.
  • Expertise in Operating System Deployment (OSD) and SCCM administration.
  • Intermediate skills with InTune Unified Endpoint Management.
  • Advanced skills in Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
  • Expert-level proficiency in VBScript and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Service Manager and ITIL KPIs.
  • Intermediate understanding of Information Assurance guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) creation and troubleshooting.
