About The Position

The Help Desk Technician is primarily responsible for responding to end-user submitted tickets; triage and diagnose problems, troubleshoot solutions, and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of professional PC and/or Help Desk Technician experience
  • Good working knowledge of the Windows operating system and MS Office applications
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all staff and management of the organization
  • Thrive in a team environment; actively listen to others, contribute ideas, collaborate and agree on solutions and action plans
  • Prioritize multiple technical issues and tasks to reduce disruption to end users
  • Work with and implement new software, equipment (scanners, printers), and system policies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Macintosh operating system a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce SaaS a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems, including in-house and third-party applications (Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce etc.)
  • Repair in-house desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related equipment
  • Configure and install PC software, hardware, and peripherals
  • Support audio/visual requirements in conference rooms and in General Meeting room
  • Evaluate and order new IT equipment
  • Provide technical assistance and training to system users
  • Provide assistance with installation of networking cable
  • Participate in IT projects as needed
