Requirements

  • Associate's degree or actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (or a similar field) is preferred.
  • Two years of successful experience as a Help Desk Technician is required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides first-level support and troubleshooting for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, our custom ERP, and other related technologies.
  • Manages and maintains user accounts, including setting up new accounts, password resets, and permissions management in Active Directory.
  • Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues.
  • Assists users with general IT inquiries and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Documents and tracks issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Escalates complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as necessary.
  • Conducts user training sessions and create documentation as needed.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Communicates effectively with users to ensure their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stays current with new technologies and advancements in IT to provide the best possible support.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
