About The Position

The Help Desk Specialist I at Nuvodia is a full-time position responsible for providing initial phone support to clients, collecting detailed information, and prioritizing service requests. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills to resolve IT issues in a fast-paced environment. The position offers the potential for hybrid work after an initial 90-day onsite requirement.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • One year of related experience including technical helpdesk experience preferred.
  • Experience with PC, Network, and Microsoft Technology.
  • Knowledge of PC Hardware/Software engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare applications preferred.
  • Previous experience working for a Managed IT Services (MSP) preferred.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage or similar PSA tools.
  • Experience with ConnectWise BrightGauge or similar BI tools.
  • Experience with IT Glue or similar knowledge base tools.
  • Experience with n-Able N-Central or similar RMM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Enters, prioritizes, and escalates service tickets via the ticket system.
  • Maintains a professional positive attitude that communicates our brand to clients.
  • Works directly with customers via phone, onsite, and online to provide services and resolve computing problems.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs and escalates difficult situations as necessary.
  • Loads appropriate PC software packages such as operating systems and office applications.
  • Resolves general IT problems (PC hardware, PC software, etc.) within SLAs.
  • Monitors queue e-mail request folders.
  • Provides support and/or coverage to meet queue needs based on department needs and team availability.
  • Availability to work the after-hours on-call schedule as needed.
  • Occasional regional travel, weekend work, and on-call rotation will be required.
