Requirements

  • Seven or more years of experience in flight operations.
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate or FAA Dispatcher Certificate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating flight operations across multiple business units and external aviation vendors.
  • Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Experience in utlity helicopter operations.
  • Strong management and problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving scope, schedule, and process issues independently.
  • Experience conducting safety observations and supporting KPI design, data collection, and reporting for aviation operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with pilots, maintenance, ground support, and stakeholder groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) for scheduling, reporting, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and oversees the safe conduct of flight operations of the company's aircraft.
  • Main point of contact for pilots, maintenance, and ground support to report any irregularities which involve flight operations safety or emergency response measures.
  • Analyzes meteorological information to determine potential hazards and safety of flight and coordinate aviation activity
  • Coordinate activity in the hangar with the proposed aircraft schedule.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to plan and organize an unpredictable workload is essential and needs to work both independently and in a team environment to meet shared goals and objectives.
  • Immediate response to customer requests and questions.
