REACH Air Medical Services is actively seeking skilled Helicopter Pilots to join our team in Southern California. As a part of the Global Medical Response (GMR) family, our pilots play a crucial role in providing medical air transportation services to our customers. This position offers a competitive starting salary ranging from $89,578 to $130,000, depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide a generous $15,000 sign-on bonus after training and a $40,000 retention bonus after 36 months of service under the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan. For some locations, off-duty housing is also available, making this an attractive opportunity for pilots looking to advance their careers in a supportive environment. The role involves working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from various locations and facilities. Pilots are expected to adhere to high safety standards, which are a cornerstone of our operations. Scheduled shifts consist of seven days on and seven days off, with 12-hour shifts that may include day or night trips. Pilots must ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, maintain accurate documentation, and effectively communicate with air and ground dispatch teams, flight crews, and facilities. This position requires a commitment to ongoing training and certification maintenance, ensuring that all pilots are equipped to handle the demands of medical air transport.
