Job Summary The Maintenance Support Pilot - Rotor Wing will be primarily assigned to a Maintenance Facility to perform pre-induction maintenance flights, post maintenance flights, ground runs and ferry flights as directed by maintenance planning and maintenance leadership. Responsible for ensuring aircraft are airworthy and weather conditions are appropriate to conduct maintenance operational flights and repositioning ferry flights. Responsible for briefing and/or supervising all associated personnel in aircraft operations as applicable. Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) as applicable, and a thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring Air Methods aircraft are returned to revenue service fully operational, and capable of performing the air medical mission in accordance with OEM guidelines and supplemental type certificates.
