About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and setting up helicoid rolling equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery and staying active throughout the shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus
- Ability to work with moderate to heavy materials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain quality standards
- Read and interpret work orders and production tickets
- Set up and operate helicoid rolling machines
- Adjust rolls, feeders, and catchers for proper operation
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to speed, pressure, and alignment
- Ensure products meet specifications (diameter, pitch, thickness)
- Load materials using overhead lifting equipment
- Use tools such as air shear and cutting torch as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Bundle, tag, and prepare materials for shipment
- Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
