About The Position

Capital Equipment is looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our shop in Jefferson City, MO. This mechanic will be required to perform maintenance on the following trucks: Dump Truck End Dump Truck Pneumatic Truck Low Boy/Heavy Haul Truck Asphalt Cement Truck Any Questions reach out to Ben Wilbers (573) 508-6709 RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of trucks Perform corrective and preventative maintenance Perform safety checks Assist senior mechanics Change brakes and tires Trouble shoot and repair engine and transmission issues Estimate time and material costs on equipment repairs and request new parts Maintain a clean and safe workstation in compliance with company and OSHA standards Other duties as assigned Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Must have your own tools Field tech experience Welding experience is a plus Proficient with diagnostic tools is a plus Must be able to work Saturdays, on occasion Obtain a valid driver’s license Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Requirements

  • Must have your own tools
  • Field tech experience
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools is a plus
  • Must be able to work Saturdays, on occasion
  • Obtain a valid driver’s license
