About The Position

We are looking for a safety conscience Heavy Truck/ Equipment Mechanic to join the team at our facility in Apache Junction, Arizona! Must have Heavy Equipment and Heavy Diesel Truck Experience. Schedule: Monday - Friday with Occasional Saturdays. Start time: Flexible (5am - 8am) (50 hours per week on average). Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour. As a Heavy Truck/Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of heavy diesel refuse trucks. In addition, you will assist with the repair and upkeep of various types of heavy equipment. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Diesel Truck repair.
• Minimum of 2 years of Yellow Iron/Heavy Equipment repair.
• Ability to work an average of 50 hours a week.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

• CDL A/B Preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel refuse trucks and yellow iron equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment such as loaders, compactors, and excavators.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
