The main duties include the operation of a combination of equipment including street sweepers, tractors with trailer and dump trucks. Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training.
- Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
- Must maintain a valid state CDL Class A driver's license with a minimum of one-year successful experience safely driving straight bodied trucks and/or tractor-trailer combinations without an accident. (no restrictions).
- Must have Tanker Endorsement or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Required to drive manual transmission.
- Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
- Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts during weather events to meet the customer’s mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsements preferred.
- Experience operating a semi-truck preferred.
Responsibilities
- Loading of general construction equipment including skid steer, excavators, back hoes and vertical lifts as required after training.
- Individual will also assist Heavy Equipment Operators and other departments with hauling materials.
- Snow removal during the snow season.
- This position will require periodic on-call scheduling.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
