The main duties include the operation of a combination of equipment including street sweepers, tractors with trailer and dump trucks. Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training.
  • Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
  • Must maintain a valid state CDL Class A driver's license with a minimum of one-year successful experience safely driving straight bodied trucks and/or tractor-trailer combinations without an accident. (no restrictions).
  • Must have Tanker Endorsement or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Required to drive manual transmission.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
  • Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts during weather events to meet the customer’s mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Hazmat endorsements preferred.
  • Experience operating a semi-truck preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Loading of general construction equipment including skid steer, excavators, back hoes and vertical lifts as required after training.
  • Individual will also assist Heavy Equipment Operators and other departments with hauling materials.
  • Snow removal during the snow season.
  • This position will require periodic on-call scheduling.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
