HEAVY TRUCK DRIVER (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

Under the supervision of the Industrial Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor P.I.(RJD), this position is assigned at and reports to the warehouse located at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD) and is responsible for routes in the Southern Region operating heavy truck/tractor with semi-trailer equipment in support of OTD-S and various manufacturing enterprises. Requirements
- valid California Drivers License (CDL)
- clear live scan
- tuberculous (TB) test
- physical (if applicable)
Nice To Haves
- Driving Experience
- Experience loading and unloading goods and equipment into trailers
- Customer Service Experience: Communicating with internal and external customers
- Experience working with refrigerated trailers; monitoring temperatures
- Work Experience: Law Enforcement , Military Service, State Service
