About The Position

As the Heavy Rents and Used Equipment Fleet Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the processes related to fleet acquisition, disposal, and reporting. This role involves assisting in the RPO process, overseeing and reviewing equipment inspections, and managing trade packages. You will work closely with vendors to negotiate equipment acquisitions and disposals for the rental fleet and used inventory. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with Cat Financial and the broker and reseller network to facilitate equipment acquisition and coordinate equipment needs. The role also includes managing trade values, overseeing used equipment inventory, and advising on rental fleet needs. Furthermore, the analyst will work with sales representatives to drive both in-territory and out-of-territory sales, ensuring that the fleet is optimized to meet market demands and customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of leadership and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a “Safety First” mentality.
  • Manage trade values.
  • Assist in the oversight of the consignment inventory.
  • Oversee Used Equipment inventory turns.
  • Review and report fleet needs for Heavy Rents and Used Equipment inventory.
  • Update fleet retail pricing for disposals.
  • Work with sales team to drive revenue and unit population.
  • Negotiate acquisitions with outside vendors.
  • Collaborate with broker and reseller network for acquisitions and disposals.
  • Assist with Cat Financial on lease returns and buy backs.
  • Promote ideas to increase the market penetration and increase revenue.
  • Maintain accurate records of all rental transactions within CRM.
  • Oversee inventory levels versus the rental plan to ensure the availability of equipment for rental sales.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all sold equipment is ready to ship to customers.
  • Resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present reports on inventory and financial performance.
  • Participate in financial forecasting.
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Performed other duties as necessary.
