Requirements

B.A in mechanical engineering or DSC in mechanic
10 years of experience in managing maintenance and rehabilitation projects for heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, excavators)
Advanced skills in electrical diagnostics, programming, and signals.
Proficiency in OEM telematics suites
Valid passport required
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong sense of priorities and ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
Attention to detail, autonomy, and a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration
Ability to work or travel outside normal working hours as operational needs require
Excellent priority management and ability to work under pressure, especially when troubleshooting heavy equipment breakdowns

Responsibilities

You support sites that use heavy machinery (forklifts, wheel loaders, cranes) with reliability issues, replacements, and major repairs
You train mechanics on preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
You collaborate with heavy equipment suppliers for acquisitions and service contracts
You maintain relationships with heavy equipment manufacturers (Volvo, Liebherr, Komatsu, Caterpillar, etc.)
You work with the procurement and operations teams to draft tenders based on heavy equipment needs
You analyze the bids received
You inspect and review heavy equipment maintenance
You perform reliability analysis in the field and plan equipment replacements
You act as a safety ambassador for maintenance mechanics
You provide leadership within the maintenance supervisors' community
You stay informed about grants and funding opportunities for equipment replacement.
