This includes graders, armored personnel carriers, tracked vehicles, ambulances, generators, and forklifts. Responsibilities include repairing and replacing components of cooling, braking, exhaust, power train, or hydraulic systems on combat and tactical, automotive, and powered support equipment. The incumbent will also perform operational inspections, ensure vehicles are properly serviced and repaired, conduct preventative maintenance checks and services, and perform minor body work. Additionally, the role requires assisting higher graded repairers in performing more complex repairs, such as removing, repairing, or replacing major components like engines and transmissions. The position also involves operating motor vehicles to check work.
