About The Position

Heavy Materials Forklift Technician Location: Columbus, OH, 43207 Is this you? Do you thrive in fast-moving operations where safety and precision matter? Are you confident loading/unloading trucks and organizing inventory with a lift truck? Do you communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a coordinated team? What you’ll do Operate forklifts to efficiently move and position materials and finished goods. Load and unload trailers and containers with care. Inspect forklifts and related equipment; flag maintenance needs promptly. Keep inventory records accurate and assist with stock placement and organization. Comply with all safety rules and company procedures. Partner with team members to meet schedules and delivery commitments. Immediately report equipment malfunctions or potential hazards. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Current forklift operator certification. Demonstrated forklift experience in a manufacturing setting. Sharp attention to detail and a strong safety focus. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks. Team-oriented with solid communication skills. Basic computer literacy for inventory systems. This role is performed largely outdoors and involves exposure to a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Current forklift operator certification.
