About the Permian Straddling West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico, the Permian is the most prolific oil and gas basin in America and the engine behind the country's energy renaissance. Nationally, it provides about 40% of oil and 15% of gas production and plays a critical role in making the U.S. a leading energy exporter. The merger of ExxonMobil and Pioneer creates an Unconventional business with the largest, high-return development potential in the Permian Basin. The combined company's more than 1.4 million net acres in the Delaware and Midland basins have an estimated 16 billion barrels of oil equivalent resource. In 2023, we produced, on average 612,000 barrels a day in the Permian Basin, and we're aiming to produce 1 million barrels per day from our Permian assets by the end of 2027. Investments in infrastructure from New Mexico to the Gulf Coast enhance logistics and integrated value. We've advanced gathering and processing facilities, including the Cowboy central delivery point. Integration maximizes resource development through to fuels, lubes, and chemicals. What role you will play in our team Maintenance professionals in this role may begin their careers as an entry level engineer or a wage technician in a specific craft area of focus that also has good leadership skills and can progress to this position. This role is responsible for directing or over-seeing work done by others in maintaining Company facilities, own and manage the relationship /contract with the M&R and construction providers, focusing on delivery of objectives and plans within agreed performance parameters, driving continuous improvement, and career development of their direct reports. Supervises maintenance teams to help Operations deliver safe, reliable and profitable operations. Based out of Carlsbad NM. Del/tex areas. Carlsbad NM, Coyanosa Texas and Monahans Texas

Requirements

Knowledge of the Delaware facilities and area to provide expectations to crews working on XOM assets.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Five years of formal or industry training is required.
Higher operational mechanical and maintenance knowledge of XOM facilities in the Delaware Area.
No College Degree Required

Responsibilities

Ensures that all employees and contractors meet applicable personnel and process safety, security, health, and environment (SSHE) requirements.
Responsible and accountable for all maintenance activities performed at their area of responsibility as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent or Field Superintendent (SLS).
Responsible for ensuring Best Practices, Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) expectations, permitting process are followed.
If role is more focused on overseeing field execution work, then must possess a strong awareness of factors that drive project / Turn-Around implementation costs - with appropriate cost control skills.
